Brendon Trayner is a fire captain in the state of Arizona. His background with functional fitness paired with his years of experience in the fire house helps him guide prospective firemen and women to careers in fire departments all around the country.

With his help, Josh Bridges has tailored his general prepared physical fitness program to a specific program for cadets and current firemen/women.

HOW DOES THIS PROGRAM DIFFER?

This program is specific to firefighting, delivered through functional fitness training. You will become physically fit as to be prepared for anything life can throw out you, but more specifically any scenario being a firefighter can bring your way.

WHAT’S THE FORMAT?

Workouts will be 5 days a week, in a 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off schedule. Workouts will take between 1 and 2 hours, but for those time sensitive, they can be cut down when needed. You will access the program through a login to this website, and can keep track of all scores in a journal, or post to the comment section. You will be using barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, sleds, ropes, machines, ruck sacks, pull up bars, and more.
